How fast is the Cruse scanner?

Answer:

Using our most common head (7,000 x 10,500 pixel, 220 MB in 3x8 bits), a maximum resolution scan on our 36"x48" copy board takes approximately six minutes; lower resolution scans take less time. Scans produced with our larger head (10,000 x 15,000 pixel, 450 MB in 3x8 bits) takes approximately 9 minutes for a maximum resolution scan.

Smaller originals can be positioned on the vacuum board and batch-scanned to maximize efficiency. On a Cruse CS 155/220 scanner, fifteen 8"x10" originals can be scanned at maximum resolution in approximately six minutes, or about 24 seconds per scan.
