Although Cruse scanners can capture images in 3x16 bit format, output devices require a 3x8 bit format for printing. Our 220 MB version is capable of capturing a 440 MB file in 3x16 bit, but this file must be converted to 3x8 bit (in Adobe Photoshop) prior to editing or printing. Likewise, our 450 MB version can capture a 900 MB file in 3x16 bit, but this must be converted to a 3x8 bit file for editing or printing.
