Oak Ridge,
NJ: The readers of Digital
Output magazine
have voted the Cruse Synchron Table scanners one of the top 50 products of
2003. The list was based on reader response to products featured in the magazine,
which covers everything from input through output. Given the enormous number of digital imaging products
released every year, the award is something special for Cruse.
Per Kurt
Ernst, Managing Director of Cruse Digital Equipment, ÒAs a small manufacturer,
the award means a lot to us. ItÕs
recognition for our innovation and hard work, and it puts us in a class with
other award winning companies such as Agfa, Heidelberg, Epson and Hewlett
Packard. ItÕs proof that a small
business can compete in an ever tightening marketÓ.
Worldwide
sales of Cruse scanners are up in 2003, with many customers coming from new
markets. ÒWord of mouth is a
powerful advertising tool for usÓ, says Ernst. ÒWe are being approached by an ever expanding circle of
customers interested in our scanners.
As a small manufacturer, we can easily modify our products to suit
multiple applications. This
broadens our appeal and helps us get into new markets quicklyÓ.
And what
does the future hold? Ernst wonÕt
say, but expect more good things from Cruse in the coming months.
